The vase opposite represents a heifer head. It was found on the remains of the site of Olympia. Here, the illustration is more common and shows a gladiator carrying jars. It was also a test of the Olympic Games, which consisted of crossing the amphitheater at full speed, dotted with obstacles, to arrive first without losing the load on his shoulders. The athletes were allowed to push their opponents and if one of their jars broke, the race was over for them.
